Home-made wholemeal bread with honey

Ingredients:

Ingredients – yeast:
  • 1litre warm water
  • 6 grams yeast
  • 1 spoon honey
  • 0,5 kg wholegrain rye flour

 

Method:

Mix all the ingredients carefully and put to one side to allow it to rise for about 8 hours. Add one teaspoon of salt, sesame, sunflower seeds or other.

Ingredients - dough:
  • 1 kg wholegrain wheat flour
  • 100 grams oil
Method:
Add the flour and oil to the previously prepared yeast, knead and allow it to rise. When it has risen, put it on the table and knead two round loaves of bread. Place it on a greased bread pan sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Brush the bread with poppy seeds. Bake at 250oC for 20-30 minutes.
